About A & A Industrial / Albeco Fasteners, Inc.
A & A Industrial Supply was founded in 1995 as a subsidiary of Suppliers Automotive Parts Company, and sold sorbent products to a wide variety of industries. In 1998, A & A was awarded a state contract in Massachusetts to supply Environmental Compliance Products and Safety Supplies to Massachusetts Highway Department. For the next 4 years A & A worked closely with Mass Highway as the agency worked to comply with a $50,000,000.00 compliance order from the Federal EPA. Selling products relating to Spill Prevention and Countermeasures while observing Best Practice disciplines, A & A successfully assisted Mass Highway with their compliance efforts.
In 2001 A & A was then asked to become part of a program initiated by the state to bring all municipalities and political sub-divisions into compliance with state and federal waste management laws. To do this effectively, A & A joined forces with Albeco Fasteners of West Newton. Albeco was widely recognized as a leader in the construction supply business and had 50 years of fastener and hydraulic business experience. Albeco also maintained multiple state contracts and the resources to bring a wide variety of vendors together to give the Commonwealth a one-stop source for their needs and requirements in the facility and industrial supply areas. In 2005 A & A Industrial became a state certified SWOMBA, women-owned business under the leadership of Janet Triglione of Reading.
In 2007, Ted Morang of Wilmington and John Messina of Lowell joined Janet Triglione of Reading as owners of A & A Industrial. With the new sales team in place, A & A them merged with Albeco Fasteners creating a new and powerful company, A & A Industrial / Albeco Fasteners, Inc.
Late 2007 saw the new
company move to its new headquarters in Tewksbury where it serves the greater
Boston market with a one-stop-shop facility that can meet the needs of wholesale
and retail customers. Whether its a homeowner looking for a special nut or
bolt to fix a home project, or a project manager looking for structural grade
hardware, A & A / Albeco has become an important resource for many. Safety
Supplies, Construction Hardware and Tools, Hydraulic Hose and Fittings, Janitorial
Supplies, and fasteners of many descriptions fill the shelves and are ready
to fill the needs of the consumer.
